A Day In The Life

A busy day of errands before the next snowstorm hits tonight lasting through tomorrow. Per a long range forecast this could be the last “big” one of the season. We shall see… • As MrsP and I were leaving this morning I saw a little red squirrel perched on top of a snowbank in our driveway. Can you find him? I also like the tree shadows stretching across the white banking • A quick stop at the bookstore for a puzzle to work on over the weekend and a light-reading book for me • Next stop for birdseed, suet and a large seed block • Then, an overdue and much needed grocery shop to fill up the cupboards and refrigerator • Last stop brought us to the Boat Landing for a check on floating and flying things :) Mostly quiet but we saw a group of seagulls sunning themselves on snow, and three juvenile eagles soaring the bright blue sky • It’s been a gorgeous spring-like day, the calm before the storm • Off to set the table for the dear deer, and get our feathered friends loaded up before the nor’easter • Peace & Love
