Freshly Minted

There's so much activity in the garden now and it is very encouraging to see. Here is the mint starting to grow. It's in a pot, of course, or it would be everywhere. It needs no encouragement. Not a very interesting blip I'll admit but good to see plants on the move.

I had a walk round the river this morning. Good to get some air. I'm planning another toddle this afternoon. I can't say I've got much of an appetite but I'm doing my best to nibble a few mouthfuls.

The mint, and every other living creature, is in for a shock next week when the temperature takes a dip. It's already feeling cooler than of late and I read that there might be snow at some point.
