It was snowing but not settling when I got up, but by 9.45 when I was going to drive to The Climbing Unit the roads had a good covering and I opted for a walk instead.

It wasn't very cold, the ground wasn't frozen, and by halfway round I found I had too many clothes on. A lovely walk!

I was supposed to be going to Capel Curig, Snowdonia, tomorrow for a club hutmeet, but changed my mind a week ago when a big "snorer" signed up, and the parking situation isn't great at that hut anyway. Thank goodness I'm not going if the snow is going to hang about tomorrow! This is getting older in action - I find I'm getting more cautious about all sorts of things with each passing year :-(
