Ben Ledi from Beinn Dearg

We're away with friends for a couple of days in the Trossachs. Not serious walking, just a couple of Marylins (smaller than Munros). Beinn Dearg is a 1400 foot high Marilyn in the Menteith Hills. From the Summit, the view of Ben Ledi across Loch Venachar was pretty impressive.

We were worried about snow (for driving) but it seems the whole of the UK got snow, except where we were. In fact, when we went back to our accommodation at the foot of Beinn Dearg, we drank champagne in the hot tub. Another Marilyn tomorrow. (Marilyn's are sub 1500' hills, with a climb of at least 150metres ~(typical mixed measurements too!))
