Diary Blip: More work on bedroom revamp

Our bedroom revamp continues after a hiatus over Christmas and our Toronto trip. This old house has rather lovely wooden panels beneath the windows, but as there isn't really anywhere else to fix radiators the panels have become cracked over the years by the heat from them. Attempts to fill the cracks have failed to produce a permanent repair, so I'm hoping that covering them with a piece of 3mm plywood (as seen on the left panel here) will be more successful. Of course when the radiators are put back the panels will be mostly hidden (rather a shame in itself) but I'd still like them to look good. There's still a bit more repair work necessary to the beading but I thought I'd record it at this stage anyway.

(This will probably be the longest bedroom revamp ever recorded - we started it with repairing the windows almost 2 years ago!)
