Between fen and mountains

Peaceful in the park

The sun shone and the temperature climbed. It was very peaceful in the park and I might have stopped and sat on a bench for a while but I had an appointment at the bank in the village. I had to get a mandate as treasurer to manage the funds of the painting group. Marianne, the president, had to attend as well and, of course, this being France, there was plenty of paperwork involved. I had a pleasant afternoon with the painting group.  There were just four of us. I nearly finished another canvas which I am quite pleased with.
