If you can't beat them...

Weston upon Trent Bridge.

Before we cast off we wandered up to the Chandlers to stock up with coal (smokeless fuel actually), logs, etc anticipating cold weather.  The little stove on the boat makes the boat almost too hot.

With there only being two of us this time it is a case of snatch a blip as and when you can.  While the mat was alive I had nothing to do apart from at locks, he did all the helming.  Now I helm and at the locks, Clickychick takes over while I work the locks.

The result is this shot of one of the bridges which I find most interesting and indeed beautiful.  The skill and work which went into producing these bridges can only be imagined.
