Stokes Bay

Monday 13th March 2023

A long drive as we travelled down to Fareham, just stopping for refreshment a couple of times. We arrived at our self catering flat, unloaded and then went straight to my aunt's (mum's sister) in Alverstoke. After dinner I went out to the beach to get a blip. I hadn't realised that it was raining and the wind was blowing icy cold water off the sea as well. I decided not to get the camera out and just took a quick blip on the phone. As you can see, the car park was flooded too. That's the Isle of Wight across the sea.

We then had a lovely evening playing cards. As there were four of us, with my cousin, we were able to play Nomination Whist.
