Frustration

We had a busy morning.  MrMacD spent time in the garden, then started contacting removal firms and making appointments for them to come and provide quotes.  I did some washing, made phone calls to my aunt and two friends, sorted out some papers, printed out our final itinerary and information about our Eurail passes, started looking at bed linen online and checked out power banks and international chargers for our trip.

After lunch we caught the bus into Newmarket and purchased our new table and chairs and a new bed.  After that we checked two stores for power banks and international chargers, to no avail.

We won’t hear whether our offer for the house in Oamaru is successful or not until tomorrow, which was rather frustrating, but I guess one day doesn’t make all that much difference in the scheme of things. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

We walked the Pigeon Underground 5k at a steady pace, but not as fast as last time.  I think we and our walking companions were all rather tired.  It was a good evening though, always nice to have a drink and a chat afterwards.  After we’d finished I was just in time to catch a lovely sunset.

Apologies, but I am still way behind dipping into journals. It’s rather frenetic at the moment.
