Waiting Game

My new planters were supposed to be delivered today - it’s a pretty big deal. They’re coming by freight, on a pallet, and weigh 350 lbs. and someone had to be home to sign for the delivery. I signed up for a delivery slot this morning. And I waited and waited. My landscaper came by early afternoon so I went off to my massage (pure joy). Still no delivery. The landscaper called FedEx and couldn’t get a human but finally discovered that they’d gotten stuck in Colorado due to weather. Darn it!! One of these days they’ll arrive.

Meanwhile the patio is coming along really well. My granddaughter planted this gorgeous purple anemone in her fairy garden and it opened today.
