'chitting'

It's now mid-March and time, once again, to get those seed-potatoes 'chitting' ...

... mentioned the other day that 'R' has been undertaking a lot of preparatory-work (digging !) along at our Saughton Allotment plot, and so - as you can see - we now have two large trays of seed-potatoes currently chitting away on top of our kitchen cupboards ;-)
