Gotta Love Them

Parker’s JV lacrosse team won 14-1 last night. The varsity won with a similar score. We’ll try to attend as many games as possible. He really enjoys this rough sport, more so than Gram. We had nothing but 5:00 pm Mass on the calendar today. Hubby decided to take care of as many small jobs as possible since he won’t be able to use his hand for awhile. Filters were changed, recycling and trash taken to transfer station, computer data updated, workshop tidied, etc. I did kitchen chores, washed laundry, fed the birds, cleaned up kitty mess and completed other routine housework. Guess that means I will be able to have a very quiet Kindle day tomorrow. There are several varieties of daffodils blooming at the moment. These are one of my favorites. We had hoped to get more mushroom soil for my raised bed vegetable garden but have been unable to contact the landscaper who has it for sale. The grandsons are on standby to help move it once it arrives. Otherwise, it is too chilly to work outside when you consider the wind. Sure hope your weekend is nice. Thanks for visiting. Stay safe. “One daffodil is worth a thousand pleasures, then one is too few.” – William Wordsworth
