Up We Go

Despite several nights at freezing or below and heavy frost, these Hostas pushed their way up through the soft ground. I did cover them up with a thick layer of leaves during the cold spell to insulate them a little. I went out this morning in the drizzling rain to uncover them. There's warmth and sunshine coming this week. I'm sure they'll be quickly growing taller. 

Another rainy day! I need to work on our taxes. Gloomy day, gloomy chore!
