Time to go!

The day starts with a belated self-assessment tax return. And then there’s a lot of driving: Selkirk, Earlston, Edinburgh, Perth, Earlston.

On the way we discover that Angus’ watch isn’t battery powered; eat spicy noodle soup at a Vietnamese chain restaurant; watch Rye Lane at the Everyman cinema; spend time at Tesco filling trolleys with food.

Angus gets a lift from Perth to Kilchoan. I go back to Earlston. Kerry and I share a bottle of red - and then we sleep.
