high tide

Today was the high equinoctial tide, forecast for around midday, so when I took Jess down to the river this morning, it was running pretty high. She didn't go for a swim. I picked some of the wild garlic, though, to put in the chick pea stew I made for tea.

I had an aquaerobics class at lunchtime and then the rest of the week's food shopping got done.

This evening I was working at the cafe after hours as we were hosting the launch of the Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival , with soft drinks and canapés.

Tired now, and I have another day out with Jess tomorrow so time for bed!
