Today we plan to visit The Spinnies for the first time this year. The weather’s gorgeous - the light ideal for bird shots, particularly the chance of an elusive kingfisher. But as we leave we notice skies to the west are threateningly dark; it seems that rain is on its way, so a change of plan is needed. 

I decide to return to my daffodil quest of yesterday. I always find these flowers difficult to photograph well, and every year end up with dozens of shots I’m just not happy with. And so it is today. Hence, I decide to take my favourite three and make a triptych.
