Bake School

Hubby gave me a lovely anniversary gift of a day in a bake school.
We had booked in for the day, arrived at 9 and between then and 5pm, we had a great day and made tons of bread and pastries between us.

In the pic are focaccia and pain rustique (with olives and sun dried tomato). We also made baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolate, Danish pastries and a savoury tarte flambé which we enjoyed for lunch.

Coffees, teas, lovely cakes & bakes were in abundance as we arrived and for breaks throughout the day. Nice glass of Adnams white wine with my lunch too.

Fortunately, our niece, her hubby and their three hungry boys live nearby so we went there for dinner, ate lots of bread and left lots of our makes with them as it’ll be Friday before we are home.

Hubby’s birthday in the morning so we’re spending the day in nearby Southwold, our happy place :)
