Royal Music

They were at pains to tell us that the programme for the concert had been planned well before the Coronation.  It was an enjoyable concert of Handel with a seated conductor whose jiggling feet were fascinating to watch.

Earlier I'd swum, read the papers for tonight's meeting, rejoiced when the plumber(s) fixed the boiler and then managed some time in the garden, in the sun.  Pruned some plants but nothing major.  However, that is the first time this year.

Then it was time to chair the Apex Board.  All went well and we finished 3 minutes early so plenty of time to grab a bit and get the 47B which seemed to be full of noisy Vet students, homeward bound from The Bush.

I felt better by the end of the day than I had at the beginning.
