A Suprise Flower

Last autumn I bought a large sack of ‘mixed daffodil’ bulbs and I planted hundreds of them in pots and in the ground. The vast majority have bloomed with all yellow ‘traditional’ daffodil flowers. However a handful…maybe five or six have thrown up these fabulous multi-headed stems with white and yellow flowers. They probably have a special name … but I have no real idea what it is!

The grand-dogs Buzz and Oreo have come to stay for a week…while their own humans head off to Legoland for a couple of days! They have been doing zoomies around the garden and are currently flaked out on the floor!

I expect to be walking them a lot to tire them out….
