I probably won't wear it this year, but I'm knitting a woolly headband to keep ears warm and hair out of my eyes.

I last knitted in Spain, where I went to the village knitting group twice a week, my last project being the creation of a pram/cot blanket for my first grandchild complete with 3D Welsh dragon, see extra. When I moved back to the UK I took all my needles into the Mind shop, thinking that I'd never want to knit again. I was wrong.

Today, while volunteering, I found a good selection of knitting needles, mine for £1, and bought this ball of wool on my way home. It shouldn't take too long.
