Primroses

I’ve blipped this bank of primroses before but this time made a detour to go and see them.  The banks of Slade Lane are full of bright celandine with their shiny petals open in today’s sunshine.  As I drove back from Petersfield I thought about stopping to blip them and maybe will on some future sunny day.  Beautiful.

We had friends to dinner, Claire and George, Gillie and Jonathan.  And slightly over catered.   However shout out to the Diana Henry pudding I found on Instagram and have saved there which is a rhubarb with apple and handful of raspberries cooked under a marmelade and sour cream flavoured sponge. Absolutely delicious.

Late night and the clocks go forward too.  Ah well.
