Strava Day 660.

Indoor yoga self timed photo

*Morning walk photos and clips

Tagged along B 's pre-birthday shoots at UMA Farm earlier.
He shot Katrice again for her forthcoming 6th birthday and her grandmother's portrait (pre-birthday shoot for her upcoming 70th).
Did not have time to do a lot of googling/research before the shoot that  was surprised by how postcard perfect the venue is.

*If only this location is nearer, will definitely recommend to shoot here more often or go there as a family. Their cafe serves good coffee (best cup of cappucino this year so far), their washrooms are clean (and it does not have mirrors which is either a strategy to make sure that there will be no long lines or the business owners are pro-self love --- you're perfect as you are, and thus you do not need to fuss over how you look too much).

*Unexpectedly ran into Amiel (male nurse who used to be part of our photo team )

*Was asked by a couple of diners out of the blue whether I go to the gym. Had an interesting conversation with them about fitness and books (recommended Atomic Habits and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck - which I've read thrice). When they saw B, they asked me whether he's a coach at the gym...laughed and said that he is a photographer at Fitness Lab where he shoots the coaches and their clients during his available schedule and that he has the privilege to workout there as well without fees if he wants to.

*Client treated us to an after-shoot meal but we did not get to eat there as we were both looking forward to making it home before dinner. Realized that it was lunch time in the middle of the drive back home and told B if maybe we could pass by Arco Diez as I am acquainted with their Head Barista GJ . By some miracle, the cafe/resto is not out of the way and we chanced upon the Sunday crowd and an excellent server. His name is Kelvin and he took our shot (the one featured) upon request. When I saw the image, even if I was already headed towards our car, decided to walk back and look for him to thank him again. Initially just said "thank you" curtly but the second time around told him that we rarely get a decent photograph of us together and the photos he shot for us (exceeded my expectations --- no blurry ones and all are well-composed).

*Took a lot of "keepers"  today that will most probably share in either our website or IG sometime next week. Overwhelmed but still immensely grateful for family, good food and space.

Hope you had a lovely weekend as well.
