What a dreich day.  I swam in an almost empty pool in the morning and then did some personal admin and inevitably some NLWA finances.

Then to the airport to collect #2.  He was not impressed with the 8 deg temperature and the low, low cloud.  It was pretty unwelcoming.  But he did like the cost of cheese and Corona.

Later I had K from over the road in for a drink.   She has hot footed in back from Italy because of a family crisis.  Later the crisis seemed to have deepened - there was an ambulance at her aunt's door.
