Onny Trail

A much better day and a very nice surprise. 

Weather was great, lots of high cloud creating strong stormy light but not a hint of rain. Halleluja!!

A surprise visit from our friend Sarah. She came for a meal with us a few weeks ago and popped in again today for a chat and a cuppa.

And later we went for a splendid walk along the Onny Trail near Craven Arms. Our daughter Ell was visiting with D, and Vixen the Doberman.

A fine walk in sublime countryside. The blip shows a section of the embankment, all that remains of the old railway which  ran between Craven Arms and Bishop's Castle. It must have been a very scenic journey!

Back home for a  supper of hot pork baps and tea. And cake.
