The Post Office at West World's End

This post office has been in operation since 1906.  It's a lovely old building and I was lucky to find a postie outside.  No longer using the infamous Honda 150s, now they ride electric bikes.

We are told that communication by letters has dropped significantly over the years.  Not surprising with the ease of using phone messages or emails.
I doubt I would get one delivery a week.

What would have been even better for this image would be if the postie was on his phone as on this day in 1973 the first mobile phone call was made by an employee of Motorola.
