Another lovely spring day - quite a heavy frost which soon cleared in the sunshine.

I walked for 4.8 miles this morning - looking for some lambs to photograph. I found three fields with some in but sadly they all seemed to be hiding - either behind mums or at the far end of the fields!!

So, no lamb blip today - but I did like the way the sun caught this old stone gatepost revealing the texture of the marks made by the tools used to carve it. The rusty hinge pegs can just be seen on the left side..

The post does actually lean to the left, so creating it straight in camera and/or Lightroom does make other stuff look a bit wonky!
