EASTER EGG HUNT

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We were really pleased to hear that Mr. HCB was taking Mrs. HCB out for breakfast - because you all know how much she wants to go to Church tomorrow, so because he is so kind, he thought it would be good to go out this morning.

We understand they went to Three Trees Café, which is just a couple of miles up the road and told us when they got back that they had had a lovely time, which we were pleased to hear.

We were glad they weren’t too long though because we knew that Mrs. HCB had some Easter eggs all ready for an Easter Egg Hunt and although they were only small, she hid them well in the wood pile.  We think we found them all - there were lots of tiny Lindt eggs and very tasty they were too - so smooooooth and creamy!

Reeth, Hoggy and Tiny found the Lindt Easter bunnies but I’m sure they will share them with everyone else because that’s the kind thing to do.  Of course, Easter isn’t really just about chocolate and Easter bunnies so although it’s good to have chocolate - and we hope that if any of you have Easter eggs you enjoy them - if you go to Church tomorrow, you will hear about the real meaning of Easter - and we are sure there will be lots of Alleluias sung!  Did you know that when Mr. HCB was a teenager and they went to country churches, they used to count the Alleluias?  Now that is silly!

We do hope that Mrs. HCB will be well enough to go to Church and we would really like to go with them, but we think the Church will be rather crowded and as we would take up a whole row because there are so many of us now, perhaps that would be silly!

Anyway, we wish you all a very Happy Easter and we are thinking today especially of Admirer and remembering how much she loved Silly Saturday - so we think that imagining us taking up a whole row in Church would make her giggle.

Bless you all and don’t eat too much chocolate - send it to Mrs. HCB - she needs building up!

Love from

The Silly Saturday Gang xxx

P.S.  Mrs. HCB asked us to tell you about a quote she cut out of a newspaper a couple of weeks ago - it said:
"Eat chocolate.  No one has ever died of chocolate!" Jeremy Vine
