Magnolia Stellata. Easter Saturday.

Catching the light on a lovely afternoon in the garden.
I listened to the Good Friday meditation today, having fallen asleep yesterday. BBC Sounds. It is well worth a listen.
The family are coming to tea tomorrow, so various things have to be taken into account, as three of them have food allergies, one is dairy free, one gluten free, and the other nut free,
Thankfully these days you can buy most things in the supermarket as they are all clearly marked.
There never used to be dairy free Easter eggs before,
JSSainsbury’s have a Free From range,
I was cooking this afternoon, some of which will go into the freezer.
It has been another beautiful day, with cloud drifting in a little more by early evening,
The Magnolia Stellata was a bit burnt by the frost the other morning, but the remaining buds are opening and displaying their lovely flowers, in amongst those the frost had touched.
Heidi messaged me to say she had arrived in Dallas. (That would have been 3:17 am our time this morning, 23:17 her time zone,)
Today she sent a photo as she was sitting outside at a Taco restaurant and it looked very hot and sunny, They are 5 hours behind us.
Another sunny day forecast for us tomorrow, Easter Day. One of my favourite days of the year.
So I wish everyone a Happy and Peaceful Easter whatever you are doing, wherever you happen to be.
