Eryri Roadtrip

Thankfully, after 24 hours of discomfort - best dealt with by keeping horizontal and not eating - I’m now feeling significantly better. Thanks so much for your good wishes and understanding.

We have my sister and her partner staying with us, and G has been commandeered to organise a tour of the local highlights - of which there are many. So there’s a road trip around Eryri with stops for our visitors to take photos. Of course, I take advantage of the situation, and take my own. Unsurprisingly, the place is heaving with trippers, parking overflowing, and a shot of Yr Wyddfa’s (Snowdon’s) peak shows  people lining up to summit along the ridges. Away from the ‘hot-spots’ however, all is peaceful, and while the skies are cloudy rather than the clear blue of the coast, the light is frequently beautiful.

My main’s a view across Dyffryn Mymbyr and one of its lakes towards the mighty Eryri,  with extras showing other landscapes from our road trip - including the seemingly unreal greens of the Conwy Valley hills.  And, there’s that very grainy crop of Eryri’s peak
