Art, chickens and wind!

A change in the weather today! Quite dull, no sunshine, much stronger winds. Glad that we had a good day yesterday!

There was an ‘Open Studios’ day here today so we visited a few of them around this neck of the woods. All sorts of artwork from paintings, photographs, pottery and various other arty things, some more arty than others! In between a couple of then we drove down to a parking place near a beach where the seascape was dotted with rocky outcrops of all sizes leading to islands out at sea – see extra.  It was so windy I could barely open the car door, but we picnicked in the car and went on afterwards to other studios. My daughter knows all these people so we had some good chats and in the last of all we enjoyed tea and cakes!

On the way back we called in to a neighbour's garden – a chicken-feeding stop and my Blip today! Off home to Oban tomorrow morning.
