Changes in the weather

Quite a promising day today and much the same as usual for us. Trip to the library, to the pier for for fresh fish, MrsM driving home via the supermarket and me walking home via the harbour and station.

I spotted this long train in the station headed by two diesel locos, 'Concrete Bob' and 'Victorious'. Not sure what that was all about, but it makes a different Blip. Yesterday's 'Blue Clipper' was anchored out in the bay with four men up in the rigging - I've put her on as an extra..

Had pleasant chats with two elderly ladies, one cat and three dogs and arrived home in time for lunch, sitting out on the deck in the sun. Five minutes later the sky was completely covered with cloud and with a chilly breeze, so back indoors.

Togged up and went out to do some gardening and out comes the sun and it's warm again. How do animals cope with this constant changing of weather and temperature?

Quote of the Day: “To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow” – Audrey Hepburn.
