I got up late, well 8.30am, did a few jobs including caulking and painting while watching the weather change like the wind! But just after lunch there was a dry spell and I went for a short walk, albeit quite slowly, just making it home before the next torrential downpour.

Edit 1: dinner was a delicious beetroot and goats cheese risotto 

Edit 2: I've just received notification via the Neighbourhood Watch scheme of the Government's new Emergency Alert system. It'll be tested on Sunday 23rd April, which happens to be St George's Day
