Flossmo

Old news

Yes, more rain and with very strong winds today. This afternoon we took ourselves off to a local art exhibition near Godalming. The exhibition had been done by open application and there was a curious selection of the mad, the mundane and the monotonous. In many ways the three dimensional trumped the two dimensional and I did rather like the sad lady made of paper and corrugated cardboard. We didn't stay long.

Since we were near to Watt's Gallery we called in for afternoon tea. On a wet and windy Wednesday we were surprised to find the cafe full. Fortunately just as we were turning to leave a table became free. Mr Flossmo stuck with a scone with jam and cream; I brought out my adventurous side and had a piece of avocado and courgette cake. It was rather delicious.

This evening we have been watching Jeremy Clarkson's Farm on Amazon. We enjoyed series one and series two is proving equally amusing. I always disliked him intensely in the days of Top Gear but farmer Jeremy is much more bearable as he shares his ineptitude with the camera. And the programme does very effectively highlight the trials and tribulations our farmers endure.
