Along the bike trail

Monday
Laura was leaving us today, and returning to Wisconsin, but she wasn’t planning to leave until about noon, so the three of us went out for brunch first at Toast and Berry in Montgomery. Last time Roger and I had been, we had quite a wait, even though it was a week day, but fortunately today we only had to wait while they cleaned a table off. It was another beautiful day, so once we had seen Laura on her way, we set off for a cycle ride, starting from Morrow and heading north for 10 1/2 miles return. This proved to be a wonderful stretch for wild flowers - so many Dutchmen’s breeches in particular, but also purple phlox, Virginia bluebells and white trillium.
