Out for another session of donkey work.

The three of them are now out of the paddock and little field where they spent the winter and are now up in a meadow where they can eat grass, have a good old roll on a dry patch of meadow (if you're Urmel) or just stand around enjoying some of the very sporadic sunshine.

So I helped feed them today.  That was a lot of fun.  And then we did the prep for breakfast tomorrow.

And then I had the job of "Abäppeln" the meadow.  Donkeys have quite an effective digestive system and there was quite a bit to clean up.  Of course it was at this moment the heavens opened and I got soaked as I did it.

On balance I have to say cleaning up donkey poo in a downpour beats any PI Planning/Feature refinement/Backlog refinement meeting all hands down.  It beats just about any meeting ever.

If you look closely at this, you can see the end of Janosch's tongue.  He has no front teeth so his tongue hangs out.  This doesn't stop him polishing off his dinner in double quick time.
