Mini Asparagus

White is the usual colour of asparagus here but you can get green and apparently violet, but I've never seen any.  These are small at around 15cm compared to the large 30cm spears.  But I am assured they are tasty as they dispapeared pretty quickly.

Friday was a very welcome day.

I spent it achieving small things - like staying awake at my desk and attempting to unravel really complicated computery problems.  No-one is interested in that, so we move on.
