Vera

Another Vera book this week. It is from the local library and well used and covered in horrible plastic. It cuts into your hand when you hold it. Most annoying. The pages are almost ready to fall out. I’m treating it kindly.

Had my friend Clarissa around for breakfast. She was due in at work at 9am so arrived bright and early at 7.20am. It was a nice gardening day but my back was a bit dodgy so I didn’t try to do too much.

Local news is all about a severe category 5 cyclone ( Ilsa) that has crossed the WA coast. Luckily it isn’t a very high population there, remote mining towns and cattle stations. Plus tourists if they were silly enough not to drive south.
