Any Questions?

My third visit of the day to The Minster  - BBC R4 Any Questions live broadcast which was much slicker and more enjoyable than last time at The Minster School. I was quite relieved when other better questions were selected over mine, given my current problems in speaking.

A packed Nave had the largest audience and ticket requests during Alex Forsyth's reign as chair.

More professional than last time . A warm welcome by Dean Nicola followed by an excellent warm up etc by Sarah Julian (BBC Radio Nottingham) and the impressively chaired by the slick chair Alex Forsyth.

A slightly weighted socialist /  green panel aligned well  with the audience reaction as per last time. Southwell is a solid conservatine seat (Robert Jenrick). Even the tory representative Tory Peer Lord Willets was moderate and I was surprised and amused by the wit and partial sense from Tim Montgomery (Daily Telegraph columnist). Margaret Becket (Labour  grandee) was showing her age, The most lucid and impactful answers were from Adrian Ramsay (Green Party) which recieved the most vigorous applause.

I consider myself in the top tier of whoopers (as encouraged by the production team).

Programme is on ..(EDIT - this link works certainly in the UK)
