Three of us met at the NT campsite in Great Langdale early afternoon and, after I'd put my tent up - Fi and her husband were in their van - Fi and I had a walk up to Scouts Crag to have a look at routes for tomorrow. We should've taken all the gear with us because the rock was dry, but we'd assumed it would still be wet. Oh well!

I didn't sleep very well as there was conversation going on until after 11.30pm. The site is supposed to be quiet after 10 and sometimes people don't realise how far their voices carry after dark.
