We've done everything we're capable of leading on Lower Scouts Crag, so we headed straight to Upper where we climbed Route 1.75 and Zero Route taking alternate leads.

When we came down the descent into the gully for the second time we had  look at a new route not yet in the guide Eleanor Winthrop Young which has been on our to do list since reading about it last year. It's still got to be moderated, but we thought it was on the Mod side of Diff... except there was little protection.

There were a group of young members of the Yorkshire Mountaineering Club at the crag, which resulted in enjoyable chat, and I took this shot of some of them as we walked back to the campsite.

A much better sleep later, in fact I was asleep for about eleven hours, only getting out to the loos twice, which was quite amazing!
