Another new (to me) bird, a ring-necked duck, spotted sitting on a log in the inlet. Fortunately not too far away so that I got quite a clear shot for a change. This image is cropped, but no additional sharpening required.

Sadly, wikipedia says they pair up during migration, so this one may be a non-breeder.

I feel that this spring I've been making a log of the surrounding wildlife. Unusual for me, but interesting.

Quite a warm day with more thunderstorms and a tornado watch until 8pm.
