In the garden

I went for a walk this morning and was surprised by much better weather than expected. It was almost warm with not as much of a strong cold breeze. The horse chestnut trees are all filled with their fresh green leaves, and I spotted some native bluebells along some of the grass verges.
I had a coffee stop at the local Craft Centre bistro, looking out over a freshly mown enclosed field, before returning home.
After lunch we were both gardening all afternoon.
I had bought a box of wild flower seed yesterday and this was sown in the new patch by the shed, and watered. There are already. Celandines up there. (Photo in extras).,
Now we are listening to a lovely concert which is on Radio 3. It is billed as composer Max Richter’s Earth Day Mindful Mix, “helping you to find calm in the midst of our busy world”. “A mix of soothing and uplifting classical music enabling listeners to relax and see things more clearly”.
It is trying to rain outside.
