Open gardens in Teddington

Today a dozen gardens were open to the public as part of ‘Teddington in Flower’. This event used to be held in late June but has not happened for three years. I have been to several of the gardens before so only went to 3 that I had not visited before.

This elaborate giraffe statue was in a very large garden behind a big detached house…I think it must have been originally built on a double plot as all the other houses in the road are much smaller. The garden was huge for this area and had a huge children’s play area and castle , for the owners grandchildren, ( see extra) plus a huge glass extension.

The other two gardens I visited were also nice and well kept with lots of tulips still, but smaller  An advantage of having the gardens open now is that the grass is very green! See other extras.
