A Day of Ruins PW#6

Today Mr P walked from Hardraw (near Hawes) to Bowes a mere 38km.  I spent the day visiting ruins .  Here you have Egglestone Abbey near Barnard Castle. In the extra are Brough, Bowes and Barnard Castles.  Also the Market Cross in Barnard Castle where I spent most of the day.  My paces total was 15,400  compared with Mr Ps 32,800 but not bad for bimbling round a few ruins!
