Foot bliss

My hiatus in hospital meant that I couldn't get to Ashby de la Zouch to visit the podiatrist. My big toes were hurting because of accumulations of dry skin and the corn had resurrected itself on my right foot. 

Juliet sorted it all out with no problem. I felt as if I was walking on air when I left.

Only today did I notice how many buildings in Ashby have blue plaques indicating that they have historic associations. Today's photo shows the headquarters of the Ashby Civic Society.

I tried to apply for a Blue Badge online this afternoon but the Leicestershire County Council website locked me out before I'd even begun. As my son said, if I were a council employee I'd probably get my badge within a week.
