Drama King

Well, it was an 'at home' day that included a lot of not a lot until 6pm when I had a G.C.S.E. English Lit tutorial with nephew JJ, for the first time from Turkey, and on Zoom.  I had a few teething problems with manipulating the program, but we both did  OK as far as learning goes.

Then the drama, as in, D.R.A.M.A.

Not long after ending JJ's tutorial, Rufus howled from the balcony and came inside going nuts as he used his two front paws to repeatedly swipe at his nose. This went on and on as I watched his entire nose swell until he looked like a Platypus!  Called Graham who came with antihistamine tablets and by 9.30pm we were in his car on the way to the emergency vet in Didim who, using long tweezers, pulled a small black bee sting from the dog's nose (and then gave him antibiotics, just in case). Happy to say that by bedtime, said nose had returned to normal woofer proportions and I hope Rufus has learned to choose his playmates more wisely!!

Had to include some pics of the garden for my Blip which is looking wonderful in this Turkish sunny springtime.
