Day at sea 4

Isn’t the boat fabulous? It even had 2 lifeboats made by another passenger. 2 beautiful origami boats but we added them on afterwards.

Solo breakfast again before collecting Mr PHL for the quiz. The array of boats was fabulous, some very inventive people on board. And even better they all floated.

Lost another hour, luckily the captain is doing it in the middle of the day which did seem strange at first but definitely works and doesn’t interrupt your sleep too much.

Tried the pizza and pasta bar for lunch, nice pizza by the slice. A bit of knitting and time for choir - Superstition by Stevie Wonder. Our show will be at 8pm on the 28th so just before the main performance. Eeeeekkkkk!

Teatime teaser saw us score yet another 4, at least we’re consistent. Gave myself a day off bingo again before dinner in the included Italian restaurant.

Watched Brian Connelly junior perform tonight. His dad was one of the original members of the Sweet. He sang all the ones I knew and a few other classics by T-Rex and the Bay city rollers and really had the audience going.

Headed up on deck to watch The Greatest Showman, love the music and despite a wee bit of rain, we were cosy enough in our blankets under the deck overhang.

Mr PHL headed for bed and I went back to the show lounge to watch the crew show. 3 very talented female singers, a demonstration of tai chi by the acupuncturist, 3 very happy Balinese dancers with the show being closed by the stage manager Adrian who had a fabulous voice and looked fabulous in his drag costume made from a blackout curtain and plastic decking covering.

Well after midnight before I made it to bed!
