I don't know what this is , a Peacock? Red Admiral? Something else? A visitor to the garden but that's all the information I can give anyone who might want to identify it for me.

Unfortunately we had to go to a funeral this morning at St. Gregory's in Stratford. We attended one a couple of weeks ago and Jayne was at one yesterday. Sad occasions.

Afterwards we popped to Stratford Garden Centre to look at plants and then made our way home. The afternoon was spent in the garden again, removing yet more shrubs to provide space for as yet unchosen new arrivals and digging over the borders. The weather was very pleasant which always helps. Rainbow trout for the evening meal.
