Watching The Fisherman

There was a year when lots of wood ducks showed up, but not recently. So I was pleased to see one today, hopefully more will follow. He was watching a pair of great white egrets fishing.

I don't know whether the egrets are a pair or rivals because every so often one would fly over to the other causing it in turn to fly further away. Fun to watch.

Also saw the kingfisher again and two deer, more purple martins and teals. Quite a productive day. I may come back and post extras.
