All Change

Looks like folk are moving into this new Haymarket building though work continues on the one behind. Have to admit it looks pretty good at sunset, maybe less so on a typical, rainy morning.
We were coming back from our latest Wednesday pub exploration, this time to the Brass Monkey - very fitting for the weather - and which ticked all the boxes: good food, good cask beer, Weissbier on tap, interesting music, friendly staff, decent prices. Definitely one to re-visit.
Earlier, I’d spent all afternoon at the allotment. Planted out the first seedlings under a Heath Robinson cloche; sowed spinach, rocket, chard, lettuce, spring onions. All last year’s seeds though as Jo’s purchases for this year are almost entirely peas and beans! Jeez Louise!! Have to say the plot is looking tidy, maybe that’s why it’s attracting so many crows?
